Turkey Leg Recipes
Fresh Turkey legs You enter the amount
2 Turkey legs
4 sage leaves fresh
4 sprigs Thyme
$ sprigs Rosemary leaves
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic
Olive oil
!/4 Cup White Wine
Paprika Powder Enough to sprinkle over legs (Both sides)
Take legs and pill back skin, and place sprigs of rosemary,sage and thyme and garlic.
Make sure your cloves of garlic are thinly sliced and placed randomly around your seasonings under skin. Salt & Pepper both sides of legs, pour over the olive oil on the legs make sure you do not add to much just enough to coat each leg. Put in pre- heated oven for 20 mins place timer so you can check every 20 minutes after the first 20 add 1/2 cup water and continue to roast reset timer for another 20 minutes. When you check second time pour over all the legs the white wine. After 20 mins add another 1/2 cup of water and turn legs over to brown other side. Check every 20 minutes till done.
Preheat oven to 325 (Remember that according to how much turkey you use by pound it 20 mins. per lb. For 4 lbs. it would be 80 mins.= 1 Hour and 10 mins.
This is great with mashed potatoes or with salad. You can make really fantastic roasted turkey sandwiches or Turkey salad. It taste great especially if you have your own fresh herbs.
