Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal No-Bake Cookies

I remember my mom fixing these when I was a kid. I believe she got the recipe off the side of a Oatmeal Box.

Some folks call them No-Bake Cookies, Preacher Fudge or even Cow Pies.

Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal No-Bake Cookies

Mix the following in a pot or saucepan that is at least 2 quarts.

1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/3 cup cocoa

Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Continue boiling for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.

Stir in:
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick oats (I use Quaker)

Immediately drop by the teaspoonful onto wax paper. Let cool, they harden almost immediately. (You can make bigger ones too, they just take longer to harden)

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
