Flakiest Pie Crust
Pie Crust
3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups all vegetable shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
6 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons white vinegar
Cut shortening into the flour and add salt. Mix the egg with the water and vinegar. Add to the flour mixture. Be sure to let the dough rest in the fridge before rolling out.
This makes the flakiest pie crust.
