I'm going to share with you a product launch formula that has
provided consistent, reliable results for marketers in a variety
of different niches. You'll want to follow this formula because
it will help you approach your marketing in a way that will
maximize the amount of sales you make.
Another benefit to using this product launch formula is that it
will truly be a greater service to your customers. It'll allow
you to help them get better results with your information. And
that's the secret to ultimate success.
Okay, here's the formula:
1. Find the problem, then create the solution
Most people have a product in mind that they'd like to create.
This is like creating a solution first, then trying to find a
problem to match it. A much better approach is to simply
approach your market and ask them – what are you desperately
looking for that will help you solve a problem, increase your
happiness or help you avoid a pain? What is preventing you from
solving that problem now?
Once you've identified a desperate problem, then focus on
creating a product.
2. Create a sequence of events related to your product
How do you seduce someone? Do you walk up to them and just kiss
them? Or do you slowly build up attraction, comfort and trust
while creating tension along the way?
It's much more believable to slowly share your story with your
market over time than it is to hit them over the head with a
baseball bat and then ask for the order.
A regular Joe Marketer will try to use one sales letter to
accomplish everything – To get attention, to provide proof of
results, to establish his expertise, to trigger certain buying
responses and to ask for the order. All in one sitting!
Instead, you should create a sequence of events that lead up to
the order. The first week you work on getting attention. The
second week, you start providing proof. The third week you
establish your expertise. During each week you are also slowing
hitting on those triggers that will case your prospect to buy.
You build up all this tension, then you offer release when you
finally allow them to order.
3. Make your offer as enticing as possible
If you do it right, a product launch allows you to sell at
higher prices. When you sell at higher prices, it's much easier
to create a crushing offer. When creating your product offer,
shoot for this goal: to create something that returns 10 times
more value than the price you ask for it.
