Product Launch Formula - Hidden Secrets Of The Product Launch Formula

Hidden Secrets Of The Product Launch Formula

As a professional joint venture broker, I get to see a
lot of things that people do wrong in setting up joint
ventures and product launches. Here are some of the
"Hidden Secrets Of The Product Launch Formula."

1) The Need For Speed.

Often numerous industrious people in a niche will notice
a problem, and conceptualize a solution at the same time.
Sometimes that solution is so intuitive, that several
people will even come up with the same general product to
solve a given problem.

In the world of online marketing in particular, it's
extremely important to quickly go from noticing a problem
to getting an obvious solution on the market. Otherwise,
you're very likely to notice someone doing a product launch
for YOUR idea, while you're still thinking about it.

2) The Need To Lay The Groundwork In Advance.

A big part of the product launch formula, or product launch
sequence
, IS getting others already in contact with your
ideal customers to spread the word. You want to get others
as affiliates and joint venture partners.

In many niches such as Internet marketing, and personal
development, there are so many new product launches
occurring that your most desired joint venture partners may
already have prior commitments.

The hidden secret, the critical part of the product launch
formula
that makes a huge difference, is establishing
relationships with others in your niche LONG before you
need them as potential business partners.

When asked for help, or to participate in a project, we
are much more likely to say "yes" if that request comes
from a friend. That ‘s true even if our promotional
schedules are already very busy.

One excellent method of laying the groundwork early is
actually getting out and meeting others in your industry.
I recommend actual face-to-face meetings at seminars,
workshops, conventions, tradeshows, etc.

Simply "google" your niche + "seminars" and you should
be able to locate many of them. If you are in the Internet
marketing niche, there are numerous seminars EVERY month
located around the world.

For a current listing of Internet marketing seminars and
conferences, mostly in the United States, but also around the
world (in locations as exotic as Bali, Indonesia) simply
frequent: http://InternetMarketingSeminarSchedule.com

These seminars range in price from free to several
thousand dollars. Find one near you, and in your price
range, and then get out and meet others in your industry.
Think of this as laying the critical groundwork that is
the secret to massively successful product launches.

3) Build A Team.

Launching a product in isolation, or without people
possessing the RIGHT skills, is the product launch formula
for MASSIVE disappointment. Look at what skills you have,
and then find people who possess skills that you don't
have... and make them a part of your team.

You don't always have to pay for all of the skills that
you need. You can often trade your talents (helping them
with their projects) in exchange for them helping you
with your project. Often, it is "cheaper" to just hire the
talent that you need, but lack of money must NOT be
allowed to stop you.

Skills that you'll need to incorporate into your product
launch formula
include: copywriting, graphics, affiliate
program management, promotion and publicity, audio, video,
blogging, programming and website development, joint
venture partner recruitment, and customer support... to
name just a few.

These are the BIG "secrets of the product launch formula"
that I see people frequently missing. You really need a
blueprint though. I actually prefer mapping out a
product launch, referring to the authoritative guide
on the topic, Jeff Walker's "Product Launch Formula"
as I build a plan.

I use Mindjet mind-mapping software, and actually flow
everything out, and then share parts of my mind-map with
team members, and with members of my mastermind groups.

The whole process of doing a large product launch is very
complex.

However, if you are doing a product launch, and you
incorporate the three hidden secrets listed above, you
will already be ahead of 90% of your competitors who
completely mess those up. You'll already have stacked
the deck in favor of you having a massively successful
product launch :-)
